Rehab will typically only get you 80% to full functionality. You need to be at 100% to safely continue with your daily life and especially if you are active in sports. It is crucial to complete the stability, mobility, and strength work when returning from injury. A lack a pain doesn’t equal a lack of dysfunction. Pain in an area can resolve but a movement dysfunction can remain. Our one on one pilates sessions focus on your needs and goals to help you capture your full potential.
Pilates can help with injury recovery by addressing our bodies muscular imbalances in a controlled and painfree way. By training the body as a whole verses just an injured area, addressing the smaller, less often trained stabilizer muscles, pilates can restore strength and enhance function.
